The habit consists of the brown tunic and scapular of Our Lady, the white toque over the head and shoulders, a black or white veil, a belt and rosary worn at the waist, a crucifix worn under the scapular and over the heart, hemp sandals and socks "for modesty (St. Teresa of Avila)." The white mantle, shown in the picture of Blessed Maria of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, is worn in choir. |
